Models
Do you do Open Casting or Walk-Ins?
We do organise an open model casting at least biannually for new and experienced models. If you would like to be scouted without having to attend one of our organised castings, we do allow walk-ins for experienced models every Wednesday (excluding public holidays) between 12 noon and 2 pm at our Lagos (Ikeja) office. Any walk-ins outside this hours and day will be rescheduled for the next walk-in day. We do advice new models to attend an Open Casting Event instead of a walk-in so as to undergo our Model Training and Development Program. Walk-Ins are only opened to experienced models.
What happens during and after Model Walk-Ins?
During walk-ins, you will be briefly interviewed by a Model Scout who will advise you on any opportunity available within the agency. If you tick all the boxes for an opportunity, then you will be informed straight away and the next process.
When is your next Model Casting Event?
We do organise model at least biannually for new and experienced models, but we do publish the information on the events page on our website. Click here to find out about our next Model Casting Event.
Do you hold Model Casting Events in others states in Nigeria?
At the moment, we only organise model casting in Lagos at our Ikeja office mostly.
I am an experienced model, can I join your agency?
Yes you can join Box Models Agency, but you do need to attend one of our Model Walk-Ins on Wednesdays (excluding public holidays) between 12 noon and 2 pm at our Lagos (Ikeja) office. For faster processing, you are advised to complete the online registration form on the Become A Model page of our website. Please note that we can only work with models who are not currently signed by another modelling agency or management.
I am a new model, can I join your agency?

How can I apply to become a model at your agency?

Do I need a professional Photograph to apply to become a model?
No, you don’t need a professional photo for your application, but we do need a clear and quality photo of your head shot, side shot and full length body shot. If you have make-up free polaroid images, you can include it in your application. Please ensure you meet the height and age requirement specified below.
Is there a height requirement for models?
For our commercial and curve model boards, there is a minimum requirement of 5ft 5inch. For Catwalk and Fashion Models, there is a minimum requirement of 5ft 8inch for FEMALES and 5ft 11inch for MALES.
Is there an age restriction for models?
Yes, all models must be over 16 years old. Any model under 18 years old will require a parent/guardian’s consent before being signed by Box Models Agency.
I have submitted my application to become a model, what happens next?
If your application is successful, our team will be in touch within 4 weeks to advise you of the next process. Due to the high volume of applications we receive daily, if you do not hear from us within 2 months, please assume your application was unsuccessful on this occasion.
Is there a fee to join your agency?
There is no joining fee for experienced models who are signed through Model Walk-Ins and don’t require to undergo our training and development programme.
For new models who go through our Model Training and Development program, we charge a small joining fee, only if the model gets signed by Box Models Agency. The joining fee will cover training, ongoing development programme, portfolio shoot and legal fees.
Influencers
How can I apply to become an influencer at your agency?

What are the requirements to become an influencer?
We expect our influencers to be social media savvy, engaging, personable, brandable, and have good followers and fan base on Instagram, YouTube, or Twitter. We also expect our influencers to have an interesting lifestyle with frequent quality and engaging posts on social media.
Is there a height requirement for influencers?
No
Is there an age restriction for models?
Yes, all influencer must be over 18 years old.
